Revealing smoother skin, this The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% is a high-strength exfoliator that gently and effectively smooths the surface of your skin, the Tasmanian pepperberry extract-infused formula reducing the irritation and sensitivity associated with acid use.
The pH of this formula is approximately 3.8. Lactic Acid and has a pKa of 3.8. pKa is the most important aspect to consider in formulating with acids. When pKa is close to pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, maximising the effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation.
