Together with her husband Jonny, the pair began work on an idea that could not only help Antonia, but other nurses and midwives struggling with the same issue.

After seven years of working with laboratories, a group of British nurses, and Newcastle Science City, Antonia and Jonny launched Nursem: the caring hand and body skincare brand helping to heal and protect sore skin whilst giving back through the Nursem Promise.

The Nursem promise is a promise that sees the brand donate a month's worth of hand cream to a nurse or midwife with every Nursem product purchased to help alleviate their sore, dry hands.

On International Nurse's Day in May 2022, Nursem celebrated the milestone of sending enough of their Caring Hand Cream to help soothe and repair the hands of over half a million nurses and midwives. And since then, the number continues to swiftly grow.
