The 4-Step Dry Skin Regimen
Cleanse gently
Ditch harsh, stripping cleansers out of your face care routine for dry skin and instead opt for gentle, fragrance-free formulas, like creamy formulas or micellar waters that remove impurities without disrupting your skin's natural moisture barrier.
Hydrate
This is the golden rule of dry skin care. Look for moisturisers enriched with hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and glycerin. These power players attract and retain moisture, leaving your skin feeling plump and hydrated all day long. Apply your moisturiser while your skin is still slightly damp to lock in the goodness.
Exfoliate
Even a skin regimen for dry skin should contain an exfoliator, but it’s important to be gentle. Avoid harsh physical scrubs (with exfoliating particles) that can irritate, and instead, opt for chemical exfoliants with AHAs or BHAs a few times a week to remove dead skin cells and promote cell turnover for a brighter, smoother complexion.
Seal your hydration
After your moisturiser, lock in all the hydration with an occlusive layer - this creates a barrier on your skin, preventing moisture loss and leaving your skin feeling soft and supple.
