Giorgos began working at Greece’s oldest herbal-homeopathic pharmacy in Greece whilst undertaking his studies at the Pharmacy School of the University of Athens. Taking over the pharmacy in 1992, Giorgos created a unique lab specially to produce homeopathic remedies. He developed a deep understanding of beautifully natural ingredients, and their application, in over 3,000 herbal remedies. Together with Lena, who joined the company fresh out of university where she qualified as a Chemical Engineer, the couple soon saw people from all over Athens and Greece visiting the pharmacy.

The first KORRES skincare product was the Wild Rose Moisturiser that was created out of the pharmacy’s most popular skin remedy, Wild Rose Oil. Hailed for its ability to help improve skin discolouration and give a radiant, healthy complexion, the Wild Rose skincare collection remains a global bestseller to this day.
