What's New In Clinic: Mesotherapy Treatments

Last month we had the opportunity to work with France's finest Doctors of Mesotherapy, Dr. Philippe Hamida-Pisal and Dr. Philippe Petit, at London's Society of Mesotherapy.

Mesotherapy is a therapeutic technique from general medicine that was developed in the late 1950's by the French Doctor Michel Pistor. The procedure involves injectable drugs administrated into the skin through a specific technique. The treatment is used medically throughout the world to treat arthritis, muscle diseases, skin disorders, and neurological disease. However the main use of Mesotherapy, particularly in the UK, is in aesthetic medicine for facial rejuvenation.

Meso Botox

Best for: All age groups who want a natural, subtle, tailor-made alternative to standard anti-ageing injections. This new and advanced treatment technique eliminates wrinkles in areas previously unreachable by standard Botox injections. Meso Botox can be used all over the face to help significantly reduce pore size, as well as target individual areas from crow's feet, laughter lines and facial contours. The result will be a smoother and more youthful appearance. The injections can be delivered intradermally to achieve a milder subtle result or intramuscularly when a greater result is needed. The treatment involves the administration of the drug Botoxilium but it can be diluted in different concentrations to suit the specific area and target the correct muscle we need to reach. Every face has a different foundation and individuals should have a treatment tailor made in accordance to their face and facial expressions.

Meso Glow

Best for: 20-30 something skins that want prevention against ageing, hydration and rejuvenation. This innovative new treatment involves Epidermic Mesotherapy injections all over the face at a superficial level. This encourages hydration and the natural build up of collagen in the skin, preventing uneven surface texture, discouraging dehydration and fighting fine lines. The procedure can then be further enhanced by a deeper injection to the lower layers of the skin to specifically target individual problem areas like under eye wrinkles, deep frown lines and nasal-labial folds.

Meso Lift

Best for: 40+ skins that want to concentrate on lifting and firming. Our Meso Lift procedure is a combination treatment of Meso Glow and Endymed Radio Frequency. Our Meso Glow hydration treatment is combined with the stimulating effect of Endymed to tighten and firm the elasticity in the skin around cheeks, jawline, jowls and neck. The results are multi rejuvenation benefits for the skin.

Meso Lip

Best for: Dry, thin lips that are in need of hydration and subtle volume increase. There's nothing nice about dry, chapped lips, which is probably why we spend so much money on firming and plumping products in the hope of achieving a full, kissable pout. Lip enhancing injections like dermal fillers aren't for everyone and if you would like to achieve a more subtle plumped result with a combined hydrating and improved texture, then this is the treatment for you. The procedure involves small pinprick injections over the surface of the lips with a cocktail of firming and volume enhancing ingredients. The injections can also target marionette lines aka smoker's lines, which can cause lipstick to bleed and give a misshapen appearance to your natural lip line.
