Due to the high concentrations of active ingredients in Environ products, new customers will need to complete a consultation over the phone or online before an order can be dispatched. You can still complete your order online, however you will still need to complete the consultation form before your order can be released. You can call one of our advisors if you would like them to go through the form and complete this on your behalf. For existing Environ customers, we may need to contact you before your order can be dispatched, depending on your Environ order history.

WHO IS ENVIRON SUITABLE FOR?

Environ is a collection of products that includes ranges that are suitable of all ages, genders, and skin types. Manufactured with the highest quality ingredients, Environ products are backed by science to obtain targeted results.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ENVIRON BRAND, AND WHY MUST I COMPLETE A FORM?

Due to the powerhouse of potent ingredients within the Environ range, it is a brand requirement that a consultation form is completed to avoid any contraindications. The consultation must be updated every four months to ensure that, should there have been a change in your circumstances (such as new medications, medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or new products you may be using from other brands), we can ensure that your Environ products are suitable and safe for you to use. It also enables us to provide any information that you may request on the form - such as suitable add-in products to your daily routine that focus on or target specific areas of concern. Additionally, we can advise how to fit your Environ products into your regular routine that may include products from alternative brands to ensure all products are used together safely and effectively.

I AM PREGNANT, CAN I USE ENVIRON PRODUCTS?

It’s important to remember that your skin can change during pregnancy, therefore, if you’re using high levels of vitamin A, you may want to switch to lower levels to reduce your skin sensitivity to the product. Within Environ’s range, the one product that is not advised as safe for pregnancy or breastfeeding, thus should be avoided, is the EssentiA Tri-Complex Contouring Cream.

I HAVE RECENTLY HAD A COURSE OF ACCUTANE, CAN I USE ENVIRON?

Users are advised to avoid products containing vitamin A for six months post the end date of their course of treatment. The focus when looking after skin that’s being treated with Accutane should be to support and protect your skin barrier – any brightening or anti-ageing strategies will need to be suspended.

The ideal Accutane-supporting skincare routine should be geared towards nurturing dry and sensitive skin. Choose products that are alcohol and fragrance-free so as not to further irritate your skin. It’s also important to choose non-comedogenic products so as not to risk clogging your pores. As Accutane brings fresh skin cells to the surface, it makes your skin extremely sensitive to sunlight. It’s far easier to get sunburnt whilst going through treatment, even when the sun is weak, so a high SPF is a daily essential.

I AM NEW TO ENVIRON, WHAT IS THE STEP-UP SYSTEM?

Environ’s Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™ was created to address vitamin A deficiency in all skin and aid the daily replacement of this essential vitamin. The Environ philosophy behind the step-up system is to start low and go slow. If your skin is prepared with low doses of vitamin A, it’s less likely to react to a higher dose. As your skin needs to progressively adjust to high doses of vitamin A, the Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™ allows your skin to become used to the increased doses of vitamin A by stepping up gradually from one level to the next.

WHAT DOES THE STEP-UP SYSTEM LOOK LIKE?

There are two systems that follow the STEP-UP SYSTEM™:

AVST STEP-UP SYSTEM™AVST Gel 1-2 bottles: This step is great if you have sensitive or compromised skin and would be your starting point.

WHY DO ENVIRON PRODUCTS HAVE SHORT SHELF LIVES?

This is due to the high level of fresh, active ingredients. Environ products have an expiry date and a period after opening. The expiry date is the shelf life of a product post-production. This means that this is the shelf life of the product in its ‘unopened’ primary container when maintained under the storage conditions indicated on its labelling. The expiration date is printed on the outer box of the product.

The period after opening is the period the product remains suitable for use after its primary container has been opened. The period after opening guide is dependent on the product being properly maintained under the advised storage conditions indicated on its labelling.The period after opening is:

10-12 weeks for products with a shelf life of 18-24 months.

8-10 weeks for products with a shelf life of 6-12 months.
