Post-Christmas Pamper Time

Post-Christmas Pamper Time
It's those strange few days of the year where Christmas is over and the excitement of New Year's Eve is still to come. We're off work with not much to do and in festive limbo. I love to use this time to have a good old pamper session. It's perfect for repairing post-party Christmas skin and getting it back in shape before you bring the New Year in. This is what I'll be doing today, what about you?

When it comes to relaxing, the first thing I do is run a hot bath with Olverum Bath. Since I had my first Olverum bath I've never looked back and a bath without it just feels wrong. The gorgeous botanical scent fills the bathroom and creates a spa like atmosphere, setting up your pamper session perfectly.Once I'm out and dried, I massage in the Synergie B-Juvenate Body Lotion. It's packed with vitamin B3 and essential fatty acids to leave skin smooth, soft and party ready.

Face

A facial is the ultimate relaxing luxury treat, but you can do a DIY version at home. My favourite method is by double-masking. First, I'll apply the Dermaviduals Enzyme Peeling Mask. The enzymes in this mask dissolve the glue that holds dead skin cells and unclogs the pores for an exfoliating treatment without the harsh side effects. Next, I'll follow with an intensely hydrating treatment like the Mesoestetic Crystal Fiber Mask to boost moisture levels. This combination leaves my skin unbeatably soft, smooth, hydrated and radiant.

Hair

I must admit, I'm quite lazy when it comes to hair care, so in the bath is the perfect time to sit back, apply a hair treatment and relax. Dying and styling leave my hair quite dry and brittle, so a deeply repairing and moisturising treatment is what it needs. My dehydrated skin loves hyaluronic and so does my hair, so the Beaute Mediterranea High Tech Hyaluronic Hydra Hair Mask restores lost shine and bounce.
