We spoke to Bronagh, the International Education Manager at Jan Marini, to give us an insight into the brand that's loved by professionals and skincare enthusiasts around the globe.
What Key Ingredients Do Jan Marini Formulate With?
"Our approach to product formulation does not focus just one or two key ingredients that we then feature in multiple products. Instead, we look at any and every technology available to deliver superior results for the concerns being addressed by each product." Bronagh says. "This approach has led to the use of multiple industry firsts and patented combinations of ingredients proven to provide superior results. Ultimately, we focus on the result. To this end, JMSR has completed multiple independent, external physician studies on our finished products, not just ingredients, to prove efficacy and have published multiple head-to-head comparison studies against what were often considered “gold standard” ingredients that show JMSR product superiority in both results and experience."
How Do Jan Marini Stay At The Forefront Of Skincare Innovation And Research?
Jan Marini strive to challenge the status quo and constantly look for ways to improve on products in the market – including even improving their own technologies. Bronagh says, "By not limiting ourselves to any individual ingredients or ingredient price-points, we’re able to assess everything that may be available for use. In many cases, this includes also researching and investigating ingredients and technologies outside the current skincare industry. With this approach, we’ve been able to consistently bring one to two new technologies to market each year."
What Are Jan Marini's Sustainability Initiatives?
Bronagh says that JMSR appreciate the importance of focusing on sustainable business practices. They have recently invested in additional distribution centers to decrease their shipment carbon footprint, and have just initiated a major new initiative to redesign their packaging to improve the recyclability across their portfolio.
