New In: Monroe of London Men's Skincare Range

I don't know about you, but trying to get my other half to try and stick to a skincare regime is a nightmare. For him to actually maintain it, it needs to be simple, quick and easy, but I'm yet to find the one range that he has been happy to use. So, when Monroe of London landed on my desk recently, I decided it was worth a shot. The brand was created by two guys who's ethos was to create products for men, by men. Formulated on London's Harley Street, they have combined some of the key active ingredients we need in our regimes in straightforward, practical products. The packaging has a luxury feel but is definitely on the masculine side. Maybe it's just him, but my other half won't use anything that he feels looks or smells 'girly'. The matte grey jars and clear bottles with minimal labels look stylish, but are clear what the product inside does.I started him off simply, with the Cleanse and Shave Solution and Moisturiser and Shave Balm. A lot of the brand's products are multi-use, which makes your routine much simpler and prevents clutter on the bathroom shelves. The cleanser, which doubles up as a shaving gel, contains vitamins C & E for antioxidant protection, while Glycerine hydrates and smoothes the skin. The Moisturiser and Shave Balm is a lightweight product with SPF 20 that can be used to protect during the day and repair during the night. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin A and soothing botanical extracts. From these two products, his regime now contains the key ingredients any regime should have, without the amount of products he has tried in the past. Plus, the fact he can use both as shaving products is a big bonus, as he never forgets them in his routine.Fingers crossed I'm not speaking too soon, but I may have finally found a regime I can trust he'll stick to. I may even branch out and take the Exfoliator and Pore Minimiser next! For more information on Monroe of London, call our skincare experts on 0113 282 3181.Written for you by: Ellie, Face the Future
