In 1931, Doctor Haller became the director of Vichy Thermal Centre where he discovered Vichy Volcanic Mineralizing Water. A true pioneer thanks to his medical background, he was the first to apply the therapeutic skin health benefits of this thermal water to cosmetic formulations, Doctor Haller soon created the Vichy brand and launched the first Serum in pharmacies. Doctor Haller created new skincare protocols based on targeting skin concerns while improving long term skin health.

Why Volcanic Minerals?
Found in the protected region of Auvergne Volcanoes in France, and preserved 4,000 metres deep, Vichy volcanic mineralising water is enriched with 15 minerals and mineral nutrients that are essential to skin health.
Including the likes of calcium (to support the skin's creation of sebum), potassium (which helps to strengthen the skin barrier and ensure water balance), and magnesium (to regulate cellular regeneration and repair), the volcanic mineralising water is sourced in a protected area that's been preserved from pollution since 1874.
