Danne Acne Prescriptives
Acne is a complex and frustrating skin condition, made worse by the unrealistic promises made by many of the over the counter so called ‘Acne Cures’.
Danne offers a real solution to Acne but it is not a ‘quick fix’ solution. It takes time, patience and commitment to rediscover a skin that is healthy and glowing.
By adhering to the stringent protocols, clear skin is possible but be patient, it takes time to solve a problem that may have existed for many years.
Generally, the Danne Acne Prescriptives, consists of 12 treatments undertaken over a six month period but this is not set in stone. Sometimes clearance can be achieved sooner and occasionally, if the Acne is complex, clearance may take longer. It is also absolutely essential to adhere to any home care protocols and products recommended.
This is not a miracle cure but does give a very real and successful alternative to the often complex medication protocols offere by GP’s and Dermatologist.

Benzyl Peroxide, from the Danne acne products line, is essential to this programme; however do not over use it as it is possible to develop an allergic reaction to it. Allergy can be uncomfortable with the skin becoming red, inflamed, swollen and very itchy. If this happens, stop using immediately and ring your practitioner.
Benzyl Peroxide can make your skin dry and flaky, however this is an acceptable part of the programme and though annoying, is nothing to worry about.
If skin is very cystic or inflamed, Benzyl Peroxide can be kept in the fridge. If the skin is iced prior to application, inflammation is reduced and the Benzyl can penetrate exactly where it needs to be. The skin then gradually warms up, flushing out toxins and helping with healing.
Retosin and Revise A can also be problematic and cause some dryness and irritation. If any acute problems occur with this product, please contact your practitioner, as this product is pivotal to recovery. There are two strengths of this product and it may be that the product is to strong for your skin.
