We provide Dermal Fillers in Leeds that can improve your lines and wrinkles and increase facial volume. Kate Bancroft is an advanced and experienced injector, using the Juvederm family of products to give the very best Dermal Filler results.
Unlike Botox®, Dermal Fillers are not classified as a drug. However, it is still essential that treatment should only be carried out by a qualified Registered Nurse or Doctor, who can demonstrate both additional training ad experience with Dermal Fillers for both medical and cosmetic purposes.
Dermal Fillers should be delivered in a medical setting in a clinic fully registered and insured to carry out these procedures. Aftercare is as important as treatment, so it is essential your treatment is in a clinic that can offer ongoing medical support.
Dermal Fillers are made of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring molecule we find in our skin. HA acts like a sponge, attracting water and helping to hydrate and cushion our skin cells. As we age our levels of HA drop, making our skin feel less hydrated and contributing to the development of lines and wrinkles.
Dermal Fillers are one of several treatments that can help soften lines and wrinkles and more importantly, restore lost volume in the deeper skin layers, as we age. When administered subtly Dermal Fillers can be used to enhance these areas of lost volume, giving skin a lifted, firmer appearance, restoring volume and contour to the face.
Kate, our Registered Nurse works very subtly with dermal fillers, her goal is not to create additional volume but restore volume lost over the years due to the natural ageing process.
There is is a fashion at the moment for excessive enhancement of cheeks and lips, which Kate is not an advocate of, so please be aware before you make a booking, that her work is subtle and natural.
How Dermal Fillers Work:
There are several treatments now available to help minimise lines and wrinkles and restore facial volume, so it is important that your individual needs are fully discussed at a free consultation with the Nurse who will administer any potential treatment.
Dermal Fillers are administered using a fine needle to carefully restore Hyaluronic Acid to areas of lost facial volume. Injection of Hyaluronic Acid will immediately lift and soften those areas in need of correction.
Face the future uses Dermal Fillers to subtly enhance areas and is one of the first clinics in the UK to offer the 8 point lift, a Dermal Filler technique used to subtly lift and enhance the full face.
At Face the Future, we enjoy using the Juvederm family of fillers, which now come with additional lidocaine to help with a more comfortable Dermal Filler experience.
Dermal Fillers should be used subtly to enhance and soften appropriate areas of the face and not just placed indiscriminately in inappropriate areas. It is essential your Nurse/Doctor has both an excellent understanding of anatomy and physiology and an artistic appreciation of facial contouring.
Dermal Fillers are very safe if administered by an appropriate qualified Nurse/Doctor in an appropriate medical setting.
Results you can expect from Dermal Fillers:
Results are immediately, with areas injected looking firmer and fuller straight after injection. However, it is usual to expect some swelling and possibly mild bruising post treatment, so it can take up to 2 weeks to see full benefit.
If both volumising and wrinkle reduction is required, treatment is often staged to maximise results. Volume is always addressed first, with fine tuning of smaller lines and wrinkles addressed on the second or third appointment.
Final results see skin looking firmer, more lifted, with a reduction in lines and wrinkles.
Please be aware, Kate, our Registered Nurse, works subtly with small amounts of filler to give a soft, natural look, that should be hardly, if at all discernible to friends and family.
Dermal Fillers should last between 6 and 12 months, though all patients are individual and many patients enjoy results lasting up to 18 months.
Please be aware not everyone is suitable for treatment with Dermal Fillers and your Nurse/Doctor should discuss the type of result you should expect. On occasion your Nurse/Doctor may suggest an alternative treatment, if they feel that Dermal Filler is not the best solution to your individual concern.
Face the Future is an independent private, fully registered and insured clinic offering Dermal Fillers treatments with a fully qualified Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber.
