Skin Peels Leeds at Face the Future
The Treatment
Skin peels of varying formulations and strengths can be used to treat a broad spectrum of conditions, from acne and scarring, through to sun damage, lines and wrinkles.
The Science
A skin peel uses chemicals or enzymes to remove multiple layers of dead cells from the surface of the skin, thus revealing the healthy, new cells underneath, for a smoother, more youthful complexion. Typically, this produces much more dramatic effects than are achievable by regular exfoliation or microdermabrasion treatments.
The Results
Glycolic Peels
Easy Phytic Solution and TCA peels can be used to bring a glow back to tired skin, or in the treatment of acne. These peels will remove surface skin cells, using advanced formulations, to reveal new, healthy skin cells. These peels are quick to administer and will not impact your social life. Often a course will be recommended for best results.
Six Layer Peel (Enzyme Therapy)
This effective re-surfacing procedure gives dramatic results, by systematically applying a blend of natural plant and fruit sugar acids to the skin. The strength of the formulation will be tailored to suit your requirements and the procedure will take between five and ten days, giving time for old skin to ‘peel’ away, revealing newer, healthier cells beneath.
Amelan Peel
Specifically for the treatment of pigmentation problems – particularly those experienced by some women following pregnancy – an Amelan peel uses an acid that is found in Japanese Sake and shitake mushrooms, to re-new the surface of the skin in a way that eliminates the pigment problem.
