Warts are small, non-cancerous growths within the skin, which are caused by a viral infection in the skin cells. The virus is called the human papilloma virus and there are more than 100 types of HPV.
Verrucas
A verruca is a wart usually found on the bottom of the foot. Essentialy it is the same as a common wart however due to the weight that the body presses it into the foot it is aesthetically different and they can also be painful. Like other warts, verrucas are caused by strains of papillomavirus.
Milia
Milia are small white spots that normally appear on the cheeks, on the eyelids & around the eyes. Sometimes they can be pale yellow. Milia can occur when dead skin becomes trapped in small pockets at the surface of the skin or mouth.
Skin Tags
A skin tag is a growth that often looks like a small piece of hanging skin. They can typically occur in characteristic locations including the neck, underarms, eyelids, and under the breasts. Skin tags are usually painless and do not grow or change.
