Kimberley - Clinic Manager 
 
Kimberley has worked within the beauty/cosmetic sector for the last 25 years, the last 7 years within Aesthetics at Face the Future Clinic. 
 
She loves constantly learning and making sure the team are confident and are trained to the highest standards about new products, treatments, tips and techniques and how this will help all our client’s journeys. Kimberley is very proud of the Face the Future team in terms of their dedication to their work and how the team help each other and all their clients feel relaxed, welcome and achieve their desired results. 
 
Q. Clinic role? 
A. Clinic Manager. 
 
Q. Where are you from? 
A. I was born in the Isle of Man, but have lived in Leeds for the last 36 years. 
 
Q. How did your career in skin aesthetics begin? 
A. My career started in beauty therapy, working in salons, then into cosmetic retail and becoming a regional manager for a cosmetic company travelling around the country. I then wanted to be closer to home, for my son, so I pursued a career in aesthetics and have been at Face the Future ever since. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. Very varied and busy! No two days are the same. I have a balance of admin work, treating clients and training and support for my team. 
 
Q. Your favourite treatment to do on a client? 
A. I love all the treatments I do, but I get the most satisfaction from treating clients with skin conditions that effect their everyday life. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. I have a fantastic team, we are like a big happy family and I love the location/surroundings of the clinic. The best part is seeing clients confidence grow after helping them achieve their desired results. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work? 
A. I love spending time with friends and family. 
Melissa - Nurse Prescriber 
 
Melissa trained as a nurse graduating in 2013. During her nursing career she worked in district nursing, gaining a wealth of experience. For the past 3.5 years Melissa has worked as a lead practice nurse, during this time she qualified as a Nurse Independent Prescriber. 
 
Melissa has always had a passion for aesthetics and all things skin and decided to leave the NHS and pursue her dream by joining Face the Future Clinic. 
 
Melissa is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses and Aesthetics Expert complications group who are the leading governing bodies in the aesthetic industry. 
 
She is extremely passionate about patient safety and strives to promote natural, subtle enhancements to ensure clients achieve the best results. 
 
Melissa keeps up to date with new procedures and techniques and continues to develop in this ever changing industry. 
Q. Clinic role? 
A. Nurse Prescriber. 
 
Q. Where are you from? 
A. Leeds. 
 
Q. How did your career in skin aesthetics begin? 
A. I have always wanted to be an Aesthetics nurse. After completing my nursing degree and gaining experience as a district nurse, I then completed a prescribing course and pursued my aesthetics career. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. I have a busy varied diary which includes lots of injectables, facials laser treatments and focus dual. 
 
Q. Your favourite treatment to do on a client? 
A. I really enjoy dermal fillers, creating natural enhancements is definitely my favourite. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. I am very lucky to get to work with an amazing team and be able to provide the very best treatments and procedures to our lovely clients. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work? 
A. I am a super busy mum of 4 and I can often be found at the side of a football pitch cheering on the boys. 
Katy- Laser/Skin practitioner 
 
Katy loves learning new things and working as part of a team which she has missed whilst working in Self employment. 
 
Her career started by achieving NVQ Level 2 & 3 beauty at collage , from there she went to work in a salon and training in different treatments and products.  
 
Whilst bringing up her family of 3 boys she has worked self employed in the industry. 
 
When the oppourtunity arose to work at Face the future she was excited to develop her skills and be part of a team again.

Q. Where are you from? 
A. Grew up in Leeds and still lives in Leeds. 
 
Q. How did your career in skin aesthetics begin? 
A. I started working in the spa and beauty industry straight from college.  
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. Every day is different and were always nice and busy. 
 
Q. Your favourite treatment to do on a client? 
A. I LOVE Hydrafacial. The clients always leave looking fresh and glowy. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. I love seeing client satisfaction when helping them with their skin needs and lovesworking with all the team. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work? 
A. Outside of work I like to go on dog walks, keeping fit by doing yoga and running and seeing Family and friends. 
Clare - Receptionist/ Patient Co-ordinator 
 
Clare has been part of the team at Face the Future Clinic since 2018. As part of our front of house team, you will always be greeted by her smile and friendly nature. 
 
Clare enjoys meeting new people and making all clients feel welcome and valued from booking their appointment to leaving the clinic and beyond. Clare believes “everybody should feel like somebody”.

A. Receptionist/ Patient Co-ordinator. 
 
Q. Where are you from? 
A. I'm from Rothwell. 
 
Q. How did your career in skin aesthetics begin? 
A. I've always been interested in skin. A job became available at the clinic and I thought it was the perfect job for me. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. My days are really busy and involve working with our clients. I engage with clients daily either, face to face, over the telephone and via email. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. I love the team. I also enjoy working with and helping people look and feel their best. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work? 
A. I love watching my son play football and spending time with family and friends. 
Tamina - Laser & Skin Practitioner 
 
Tamina has been in the beauty industry for almost 20 years working with many different treatments and products. 
 
The last 3 years she moved into Aesthetics, as she enjoys working with different machines/technology. 
 
Tamina loves working with skin, and helping clients grow in confidence.

Q. How did your career in skin aesthetics begin? 
A. I've been in the beauty industry since I was 18 years old. I have always passionate about skin and worked my way up. 
 
Q. What does an average day at work look like? 
A. Everyday is different with a variety of treatments. 
 
Q. Your favourite treatment to do on a client? 
A. Honestly I love all treatments. Making my clients grow and glow in confidence, all treatments become your favourite. 
 
Q. What’s something you love about working at an advanced skin clinic? 
A. The constant training, educating and working with different products and treatments. 
 
Q. What do you like to do outside of work? 
A. I have 2 children that keep me busy with all there after school classes! I also like going for walks, spending time with my family and friends.
