Last year we spoke with Adam Birtwistle, head of UK distribution for Mesoestetic, read our chat here. In today's blog we are introducing you to the latest face behind the skincare industry leader and globally recognised Pharma Group, Mesoestetic.

We recently met with Kat Coleman, Mesoestetic's UK Aesthetic Trainer and Advisor, when she came for a visit to our clinic and we wanted to get to know a little bit more about the newest member involved in the prestigious brand. Kat sees the treatments and products being used across the country and more importantly, gets hands on experience with Mesoestetic clinics - like Face the Future - and their patients. Here's what happened when we put her in the hot seat

How long have you worked for Mesoestetic?

I joined the Mesoestetic UK Team in the summer of 2016.

What do you love most about Mesoestetic?

I love the quality of the products as well as the strength and versatility of the treatments. You can always be rest assured that the results you guarantee your clients will be achieved.

What is your favourite Mesoestetic product?

I find it so difficult to choose one favourite product as I love and use many of them for different things!

However, the two products I couldn't live without are the Resurfacing Peel Booster and Collagen 360 Essence. I use the Resurfacing Peel Booster every night; it contains Glycolic acid to leave my skin super soft and free from signs of ageing and the Salicylic content controls oil and any blemishes.

I then follow with the Collagen 360 Essence and use this essential serum both in the morning and night. The silky serum glides on and encourages collagen production to smooth out lines, wrinkles and helps to repair to old acne scarring.

How does Mesoestetic compare to other brands you have worked with previously?

In the past I've worked with cosmeceutical brands, so when I started to work with Mesoestetic, I discovered the huge differences between a cosmeceutical and a pharmaceutical brand.

As a pharmaceutical organisation, Mesoestetic have to adhere to very strict sterilisation requirements and the air within the laboratory is purer than pure. This gives that extra edge in terms of ingredient quality and product performance and there are pharmacists constantly working on new formulas and ideas to enhance results further.

I've been very privileged to visit the laboratories in Barcelona a few times and spent training time with the Doctors there. It was fantastic to watch them at work testing ingredients on skin cells, measurement methods, insight into new technology etc.

Why do clients favour Mesoestetic over other brands?

The Mesoestetic brand is aimed at offering results to customers without confusing them or forcing them to overspend. We concentrate on ensuring the client reaches their desired result and then maintains it. It really is the best brand to grow old with.

What is the best selling Mesoestetic product?

The No.1 product we sell in the UK is the Cosmelan 2 Depigmentation Cream. Cosmelan 2 is an effective depigmentation cream that contains a blend of potent active ingredients that work together to lighten the skin on the face and other areas that have been exposed to the sun. With regular and continued use, the appearance of dark spots is dramatically improved and, in some cases, completely eradicated.
