Juvéderm Being Totally Honest

Here’s a case where the advert was proven to be within the law. Allergan have embarked on a massive public awareness campaign for their latest product Juvéderm® ULTRA. I wonder who lodged the complaints, I cannot believe children seeing this advert would put Juvéderm on their letter to Santa, and if they did what would anybody be able to fill on a child?

Even if the clinician had left their morals and common sense at home. The claim by somebody that Juvéderm should only be administered by a qualified medical aesthetic practitioner was also upheld because it is completely correct. The term does not imply only doctors can administer Juvéderm and so the ASA was correct to uphold the complaint.

I think what we have seen here is a touch of green eye from Juvéderm’s competitors.
