Intense Pulsed Light and Lasers can be useful when targeting surface signs of ageing, such as Thread Veins and Pigmentation.  It can even skin tone, helping to eliminate signs of sundamage such as solar lentigines, freckles and broken veins.  It also stimulates collagen, helping to improve the texture of the skin.   

How it Works:
Lasers work on the principle of light and colour and each different type of laser, targets a different colour.  For example a Qswitched Ruby Laser targets dark pigments, making it ideal for the removal of certain types of pigmentation and a Long Pulsed N:d YAG Laser targets haemaglobin, the red pigment that gives blood its colour, making it ideal for the removal of thread veins.  Intense Pulsed Light offers a wider spectrum of light and can be useful if the surface problems are very superficial.
