General Ageing
There are two types of ageing, intrinsic and extrinsic. Intrinsic ageing is attributed to our genes, our DNA and often when we look at traits in our family members, we recognise them in ourselves. Although it is possible to change some aspects of intrinsic ageing, it can be a challenge.
Extrinsic ageing is attributed to external factors that cause us to age, in a certain way. For example, sun damage, smoking and dietary issues can all age us and we can take positive measures to prevent this type of ageing or infact, to repair damage that may have already occured.
Here at Face the Future, we consider ways of not only repairing and improving damage already sustained but also offering information and advice to help prevent future damage.
